Archery competition underway

The Archers are up and running, fortunately some of us are running in the right direction with silver medal for Lucy O’Sullivan in the Lady’s compound individual and bronze for Lucy, Shayne Munday and Dan d’Orleans in the compound Team event.
Scores generally in the Jersey camp were down from expected, with the weather being extremely hot and humid with the usual wind shifts making aiming difficult.
Today, Tuesday, was a ranking round 720 which once again was weather dominated with thunderstorms and heavy rain. The knock out head to head stages are tomorrow and we have the potential for some upsets, and hopefully some medals. We need to start shooting to our potential, and that needs to be tomorrow.
The Archery Team are bonding well, and all seem to be enjoying the experience despite the lack of form. Onwards and upwards I say!!
