Jersey Volleyball Men played Greenland yesterday, the bronze medallists at the last Island Games in Aland and the Jersey men played really well and almost won the match. But unfortunately Greenland was stronger and finished off the match by winning in the fifth set by 15-9. The scores for that game was as following Jersey -Greenland 25-12, 23-25, 25-23, 21-25, 9-15.  Well done to Jersey though. The Jersey Men today played Aland and Jersey lost the game by  25-22, 25-18, 25-19.

Jersey Volleyball ladies played Rhodes yesterday. The Jersey ladies played well and the scores shows that they were close to take sets from Rhodes but unfortunately Rhodes was too strong and won the game in 3 sets. However, a close match and great fighting spirit of the Jersey ladies. The scores was  for that game Jersey – Rhodes 17-25, 21-25, 18-25.

Jersey Ladies also played against Menorca this morning, which also is a strong team. They won the bronze at the Island Games in Aland. Menorca won the match and the scores for that game was: Jersey – Menorca  14-25, 12-25, 8-25. Jersey ladies played really well against Greenland this afternoon and Jersey won the first set and forced the game to fourth set but lost in the fourth set by 26-24. Close game but unfortunately Greenland was stronger in the end. Scores Greenland – Jersey  22-25, 25-13,25-20, 26-24
