“An Arts Council grant of £94,099 funded by the National Lottery has been awarded for a spectacular Opening Ceremony which will be held in Ryde on Saturday 25 June 2011.
This will involve over 1000 young people in a high quality themed and choreographed carnival parade through the streets of Ryde, and a special performance on the seafront where the official Opening Ceremony will take place”
