St Mary’s School pupils try pistol shooting

As part of the NatWest Island Games legacy, Team Jersey has been twinned with St Mary’s School.  Pistol shooter Nikki Holmes recently visited the school to talk to pupils about the Island Games and pistol shooting.  Year 6 pupils then got the chance to have a go at using an electronic target trainer to have a go at ‘firing’ at a target.  The winner scored a huge 9.1 on her first shot and was given a medal for this amazing effort.  A possible future medallist?
