Ferry check-in procedures

On Wednesday 23rd, Maurice will be collecting cargo at Oakfield from teams who have arranged for equipment delivery to the Isle Of Wight.

Update from Maurice (see his comment):  Collection is from 16-00 until 18-00.

Preparations are almost complete and it is time to focus and compete! With swimmers recording training distances of between 144 to 220 kilometres each month for the last 9 months (that is like flying from Jersey to London) no more can be asked of  them...

The Jersey Island Games Golf Team will be meeting at the Royal Jersey Golf Club on Monday evening and it is hoped that the JEP will be in attendance to take some photographs etc.

This will now be held at Rozel FC , Le Couvent, St Lawrence on Tuesday 14th June at 6 – 7pm.

Tracksuits will be ready for team managers to collect between 11 and 2 at the Oakfield sports centre (next to Hautlieu school).

Morag will be running one more WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) session next Tuesday.

It is important that all team members attend a session before the games. So if you haven’t yet been to one, this is your final chance.

We will be staying at Lower Hyde Holiday Park in the South East of the Island near Shanklin.
