Jersey’s Water Carriers announced – Lillie Godden from swimming and Henry Horton from windsurfing will be the team’s two young athletes performing the water ceremony at the Opening of the Island Games 2015 in in  5 weeks time.

As part of the NatWest Island Games legacy, Team Jersey has been twinned with St Mary’s School.  Pistol shooter Nikki Holmes recently visited the school to talk to pupils about the Island Games and pistol shooting.  Year 6 pupils then got the chance to have a go at using an electronic target trainer to have a go at ‘firing’ at a target.  The winner scored a huge 9...

The NatWest Development Fund has provided sports psychology support for the Jersey Shooting Team.  Having had a team session and individual 1:1 support already, shooters are meeting again this weekend for their final team session before the Games.

George Winstanley and Nikki Holmes went to the Jersey Youth Service to be interviewed by their radio station ahead of the Games.  The station will be following Team Jersey during the Games and will be broadcasting live from some events.
